Me personally, I like to invest my money in pieces that I will get my money's worth. For example, I have a velvet blazer from Old Navy that I literally pair with everything. Granted it was no more than $40, it was still a great investment because it’s become a staple piece in my everyday wardrobe.
Another item that’s going to be the perfect piece for the upcoming spring and summer season is this military inspired jacket. I mean, how cute?! Not only does the color pair great with everything but it’s a light jacket, so it’ll make the perfect everyday jacket for those chilly spring and summer nights. While shopping at the boutique, I put together three different looks that all tailored to this jacket to show you guys I wasn’t lying when I said it’s a great investment ;)
Dressing It Up
This was by far my favorite way to wear this jacket. I grabbed a simple fringe tunic dress and gave it some shape by adding a belt. I then finished the look off with the military jacket and yellow heels. The yellow heels not only dressed the entire look up but also made the jacket pop even more. If heels aren’t your thing you can opt them for a pair of Converse or slip-ons and keep it a dressy/casual look.
Keeping It Casual
This is a great example of using this jacket for a chilly day and the options for this look are endless! I chose a gorgeous white fringe tank and some cropped denim to pair with the jacket. You can pair any tank or t-shirt to recreate this look with!
Mixing Prints
Ugh, this look is everything and I must say, I have to give all the credit to my boyfriend on this one! He picked out this gorgeous print tank and recommended I pair it with the jacket. You can tell it created the perfect combo! Honestly I wouldn’t pair these two pieces with anything except white denim just because it makes them pop, but that’s my personal opinion. When warmer weathers come around a white denim skirt would be perfect!
