3 Ways To Wear A Plaid Blazer
When it comes to colder weather we can all agree that layering our cozy sweaters and jackets are our favorite thing. For me it just means I get more uses out of my blazers and plaid blazers make the perfect fall layering piece!
Plaid blazers are a great item to invest in for many reasons.. They're on trend, they pair with just about any color bottoms/dresses and you can dress it up or down. It can definitely be one of those hit or miss items with some people though, I get it, you think you'll look like an old man in plaid. Below I'm sharing 3 ways to style a plaid blazer to hopefully get you out of your comfort zone and make a plaid blazer be your next purchase!
Outfit #1 is my favorite way to layer a blazer. I styled this with a pair of denim for a more casual look, but you can easily swap out the denim for dress pants and booties for a professional in-office look.
Outfit #2 is such a badass outfit and definitely one that gets you out of your comfort zone. This outfit can be both a casual look or an in-office look (depending on the environment of your job, of course). 99% of the time you can find me wearing a t-shirt and blazer with a pair of denim, denim is a great alternative if the pants are too much for you but we're getting out of comfort zones over here!
You can wear Outfit #3 to the workplace or on the weekends. Pairing a blazer with a dress gives you so many options yet it's one of the easiest looks to put together. I decided to dress the two down with combat boots for a chic fall look, but this would look just as good with any shoes you feel comfortable in! My favorite way to style a plaid blazer is with a black bodycon dress and booties OR a cozy sweater dress. The options really are endless!
